They said in the email that they knew I sent the return , and' as soon as they received in in a few days, they would let me know.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;With the Q, I send the return off, I never know where is is and I have to wait for up to 3 weeks before I get a credit on my account. That whole time I do not have a clue if they knew I had sent anything back...that is was was coming or if they got it. That is crummy....&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I too received a credit from Qvc after contacting them about a Dooney bag I purchased and then noticing it went on clearance within 30 days. &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Also, a woman posted in this forum the other day that she was allowed to buy a Lunchtime Special next day because it had sold out in her size/color and then reappeared the following day for much higher.  Sorry, but I just don't believe that.  Why would they do that when Lunchtime Specials are for a specific timeframe? It just defeats the purpose.  It's always been first come first served due to limited quantity.    &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>HSN did nothing special in this case. Both Q and H will give credits for price reductions within 30 days of purchase. But, you as the customer need to be prudent about monitoring. I challenge them to really provide great customer service by proactively sending an email to us when they reduce the price within the 30 day window, and proactively issue the credit. Easy fix as it is managed digitally by item number. Of course, that would cause them to lose money, so it's up to us to monitor and call them on it. You know, they really don't want to issue those credits...all about more profits to their bottom line when a bunch of us pay 20 dollars more for an item!</description>

Recently I sent back two separate returns on a Friday, via First Class Mail, from the Los Angeles area to HSN in Tennessee.  I received emails the following Mondays that they had received the returns and was credited by Wednesday.  The Q takes weeks, with no communication.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I ordered two pair of DG2 flag jeans on clearance for $29.95 each.  Three days later they were further reduced to $24.94.  HSN issued a refund stating they have a 30 day price guarantee.  I was unaware of that.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

There is nothing wrong with customer service nor returns as far as my experience with QVC. I have not had those kind of problems.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Tweena63,  most of us who read and try to enjoy this board wonder the same thing, they apparently came here when the HSN boards were no good, they didn't have the freedom they have here on this board.  HSN has made some changes and updated their boards but lucky us they stayed anyway.  &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;As for QVC customer service, and HSN too , Previous poster is so right it is up to you to be proactive.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;QVC didn't charge me return fee, when I tried to cancel an order, it has already gone to far, they offered to return at no cost.  I have had excellent C.S. from here and the folks at HSN do a great job too, but we have to ask.  Keep track of your returns, Yes you can track your returns to QVC, I have seen this argued many times here too, HSN is not alone in this.  &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;One thing I had to figure out -- When I first began reading on this board, I thought HSN must be the land of milk and honey, no shipping, prices so low they were giving the clothes away.   Well I checked it out, and yes they have some good deals, but there really isn't that much of a difference.  I can't see what they are selling they really need to get rid of the filter, film thing.  I read reviews of customers fussing about the same things their that they do here.  So don't let yourself be fooled.  That's all I am saying.  Do you really think a company can stay in business if they stick to their customer like some make out happens on here?  I will say that the Q does need to make some changes, get with the shipping reductions---stop the  clearance that stays on clearance for years--- Yes that is for real.  They need to realize folks notice that.  But on the whole, the customer is right, and if we aren't treated right, we will be gone. Evey good retailer knows this, and the Q is no exception and neither is HSN.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
