Ladies never purchased liquid knit - is it o.k. To wear in hot weather? Liked some of SG's swingy style dresses they look like they would work but any comments appreciated. Thank you.

I love liquid knit, the items I have are designed to fit loose. In my experience they are cool and very comfortable. I live in southeast Arkansas where it is hot and humid. The only time I had problems with wrinkling, wasn't really wrinkles, was one item arrived with "Creases" from packaging. Those creases were hard to get out. This fabric packs like a dream too. I do not have any issues with cling etc. I wear a size 2x in most tops regardless of brand. HTH.

I also love the different weights of Liquid Knit. I live in Georgia - as the saying goes, if it doesn't grow here, it rusts.

Since I travel a lot in all seasons, Liquid & Butter knits are a traveler's dream. They don't wrinkle when packed or while wearing and take up very little space in a suitcase. They mix & match very well.

When flying, I travel only with one bag - my carry-on. I generally go away for 2 - 3 weeks at a time. You can easily pack a dozen tops, 8 or 10 pairs of slacks, a maxi skirt and/or dress. In winter if it gets too cold, I always have 1 or 2 sets of CuddleDuds for outdoors.

If you receive an item that seems to have a permanent crease, use white vinegar and a press cloth to iron it out.

Most all my SG items were purchased as 'last clicks', clearance, 'as is' , on eBay, thrift stores or at Q outlets. I rarely buy clothing at regular prices. I'd rather spend my money on other things.

<IMG

I have tried it. I can't wear it, it makes me too hot and sweaty. This is not exclusive to liquid knit. I can't wear anyone's 100% polyester which is a shame because there are some real cute things out there. I just can't. However if you wear it and love it, enjoy!

I have some older pieces of LK and I find them to be much to hot to wear in the summer - as a matter of fact - I only wear LK if we are having a rare Florida cool spell which occurs a few days each winter or if we go to Pa for some reason in the winter. My closest friend lives in southern SC and wears LK all year round - but she says her medications make her cold all the time so that is why it doesn't bother her.

I just ordered these for work. I love red and white together. These have very good reviews, and you get two tops for one shipping cost!! My favorite part about liquid knit is how it washes/tumble dry and comes out looking great. It doesn't shrink, doesn't fade, doesn't wrinkle. It is a little cold in the winter. In my area it's a 3 season fabric. I'm always cold though

Just bought this one too! It sold out in a few minutes. SG really has some nice designs! Love them

And this necklace from last year will go nicely with the blue top - not(purple shown) I wish she would bring this necklace back so many ask for it

It is funny how we can feel exactly the opposite about the same things!

I only have one SG LK top but I like the fabric for all year. I love this type of fabric (Slinky, CSC, Chico's Travelers, jerseys in general) for summer.

When you wear the correct size they skim the body & do not cling. I can understand not liking this fabric if you are wearing them skin-tight but that is too small.

I find they are cool in the hot, humid, Florida summers. They don't end up looking like a sticky, wet mess (like cotton does) if I am outside.

Definitely check the sizing & the garment measurements before ordering this type of fabric. Thaat will give you a better idea about the correct size for the fit you want.

I have one liquid knit top. It wrinkles terribly. I will never order another Susan anything. I regret not returning it, but waited too long to wear it.

I have several of the liquid knit pieces, I wear it 3 seasons, not warm enough for midwest winters and I don't have a problem with wrinkles either.

It depends. If you are going to be in the air conditioning for much of your day, it will be fine. But if you are going to be out and about in hot, muggy weather; you probably want to pass on the liquid knit. Or any of the other knits that are like it. Most Q clothing vendors sell their own version of liquid knit.

I don't find liquid knit to be uncomfortable in the summer, although I don't wear it for gardening or exercise. It's the best thing in the world for travel because it doesn't wrinkle, folds or rolls into a tiny packet and can be washed in a sink and quickly dries. I took a whole wardrobe of it on vacation for 2 weeks using only a 20" carry-on and some dual use Space Bags.
