topic Question about Slanket for my elderly mother in Fashion

I was thinking the slanket would be good for my mom to put on to help keep her warm. However, she is short 4'10 and am thinking this would be dangerous because she could trip with it. So now I'm thinking maybe the kids version would be good for her. What do you think?
