topic Shoe Help Please: need a wider toe box in Fashion

I've been trying to find some cute COMFORTABLE flats for work -- I work in a professional office. I've pretty much only worn Clarks, but the flats/loafers I've tried lately are too narrow in the toe box. Going up a size doesn't help because the heel slips, and ordering a wide doesn't help because they're too wide all over. I have small feet (6.5M) but I have an overlapping baby toe (not a hammer toe, but just as unattractive - ugh!). I need that extra room in the toe box. If anyone has a suggestion, I would love to hear it. Thanks!

I have the exact same problem. I've found Easy Spirit has some shoes with a wider toe box but not all their styles. It's pretty much trial and error with me and shoes.

Try SAS shoes. I have bad feet, wide, flat, narrow heel and they are able to fit me but you have to go and get fitted. They do it the old fashioned way.

I find Born shoes and B.O.C. By Born shoes comfortable and they tend to have a wider fit in the toe and forefoot and a narrower heel. Some Hush Puppies also have a wider toebox too. Naturalizer shoes online might also be a place to look for wider shoes. In Canada one can buy from the Naturalizer website and return the shoes in store if they don't fit. I also have a wider forefoot and narrow heel so I have to try on shoes. For a narrow heel Dr Scholls makes heel cushion stick ons for women's feet, they fit better than the heel cushions that are universal as they are smaller. They come 3 pair to a pack and you can find them in the drugstore.

My foot is a little wider and I can't go all the way up to a wide with. I've been able to buy most of what I liked because I use shoe stretchers from Colonical Medical http://www.colonialmedical.com. Other companies sell them but these are strong enough to do some stretching without breaking. There's also a little metal crescent you can add on where your toe is before you stretch the shoe and it will stretch there too a little. I do use the stretching spray. A ball and ring is good for bunions or toes. I do use the spray because leather shoes recover a little. Plastic, forget it. Good luck!

B

Keen has shoes with nice wide toe boxes. Unfortunately with that rubber toe bump they tend to resemble hiking shoes and may not work in a professional setting.
