Larger than 3X

I love that QVC offers larger sizes in most fashions, however, let's be honest here, some of us require one more size option! The industry for the most part, does not want to create these larger sizes for whatever reason, but if they did, they would open themselves up to another market of buyers. Longer shirts for us big gals, and stop making them frumpy with print or elastic/bands at the bottom! Thank you and Happy Mother's Day all.

My larger friends shop at Catherines online and in stores. They have a much wider variety of plus sizes if that is what you need.

I have several friends who are almost six feet and one who is six feet. She married my cousin and he is 6ft4in tall. All three have problems finding clothes long enough. Pants and sleeves in particular are always short. At 5ft4in I usually have the opposite challenge but I never realized how difficult it was for taller gals to find proper sizing in clothes. I do appreciate that the Q has many items in petite, regular and tall.......

The average American woman is 5'4" and a size 14... and growing. Many manufacturers net the most revenue offering clothes for that height, so they cater to that demographic.

Anyone under or over that height has had trouble in the past finding decent clothes, but it's thankfully become much easier, especially due to online shopping.

BTW, tall women also have trouble with the length of tops and jackets.

I'm 5'8" - but have my height in my long torso, not my legs LOL.

Hello. Please, instead of looking for "larger than 3X" fashions, consider consulting your physician, and for your own good health, AND for the sake of your loved ones, find a way to LOSE some weight. You'll definitely have much less "frumpy" fashions options to look forward to once you start dropping the lbs.....and you'll be around to enjoy life and more QVC fashions for many more years to come. Very true!

Thank goodness for Google, so that she can find lesser-priced but still good-quality clothing, whether online or in B & M stores.

"Find a way"? If that were a viable and readily available option, no one would need larger clothing in the first place. If you have been a size 4X cillybird, your suggestion is harmless, but unless you have known how it feels, please don't go there. Your choice of the word "frumpy" indicates where your feelings really lie.

Seriously, we all should be able to wear fashionable clothing that fits us regardless of our current size. Having needed larger sizes at one time, I agree that it is frustrating to not be able to get clothing in the size one needs.

I think it would be very difficult to design clothing that will fit every size from xxs to 3x - let alone beyond a 3x. There would be a point where it just could not be done. Stores like Lane Bryant that carry those very large sizes don't have to also fit the small sizes. As it is the small people complain constantly about the clothes not having the shape they want - don't you think that is because they have to also fit a 3x with the same design? I think QVC does a wonderful job of bringing a lot of different sizes in.

Good quality clothing is fitted separately & there are small adjustments (more than just inches added) for each size made.

There are specialty stores for different sizes - large, small, tall, etc. but I understood OP to be talking about stores (and specifically QVC) that offer a supposedly full range of sizes expanding just a bit to address a common need.

Very unhealthy .. I think instead of spending money on clothing for a 3X and larger the smarter and healthier thing would be to lose weight and exercise. No disrespect it is what it is.
