Hosts and microphones

Please be sure that the hosts do not have their microphones covered with scarves, jaxkets etc. I am watching Gabrielle right know and I am sure she does not realize it but her scarf is covering her microphone. She sounds like she is underwater. Just a suggestion.

I've noticed this a lot lately. Seems the people in the control room would hear it and let them know there's a problem. Oddly though, I had a hard time hearing Josie Maran during her pre-Christmas presentations, and she certainly had no scarf or sweater on!

Maybe they've changed Mic brands and are still working out the kinks.

I've noticed lately that some hosts will learn toward the camera and whisper something like she is sharing a trade secret. Sorry but I can't hear what they are saying when they whisper.

I have also noticed the covered mic issue.

Whenever I've seen a host accidently cover a microphone, the producer almost instantly brings the problem to their attention and it's corrected. I don't see this as a problem.
