Do you find that there is barely any caramel and way too much candy on the apples?

Last year was the same-all other years the apples have been loaded with the caramel-I did not pay $55 for candy-I paid for the amazing caramel....................

Not sure I have the same version... I got a big box with three or four different kinds of toppings Big apples with lots of candy topping and caramel. But I have nothing to compare it to since my last order was about 5 years ago.

I bought it for gifts to my neighors and friends. Actually I bought it for myself hoping there would be left over apples. My hubby was not too pleased. He does not like dessert brought in the house in large quantities because I AM A DESSERT ADICT AND IT KILLS ANY GOOD EATING HABIT OR DIET I AM ON.

In any case I managed to hide one whole apple... mine, mine, mine.. until I got caught. Oh well there is always next year.

Great apples, big, hard, tarty. Love them.

@catlover, call CS and let them know of your dissatisfaction. I did, last year, for a food item I purchased as a gift, it was terrible ... they refunded my money. Needless to say, I will not purchase from that Vendor ... actually I don't buy any food items from the Q anymore.

@catlover might have a point. I haven't bought Mrs. Prindables in about ten years. There was plenty of caramel. I haven't purchased in years because they look as if there's just enough caramel to hold all of the chocolate pieces together. I'd love to see apples with just caramel and nuts without the overload of chocolate and other stuff as an option. I'd like to try their pink lady apples, too.

I've never bought them ,because all of the other stuff, they roll them in, holds no appeal for me

I think mine are wonderful, but then really I should not be eating them. That is why I am gifting them They came with green boxes, really ready to be handed over to others. I have spent the afternoon hunting down neighbors who took care of my trash cans, newspapers, and mail etc when we went away. Makes an easy gift and everyone seemed happy to get it.

My family has LOVED them this year. Used them as a dessert for Christmas Eve and sliced them while still cold... OMG, they were/are fantastic!! I can't imagine having anymore caramel as what was already on them was plenty!!

For many years now, I have bought the Prindable apples. I usually give all away except one for me. My apple recipients look forward for the apples every Christmas holiday. I do like the tart apple combined with the sweet toppings. But, I do wish there was more caramel and not so much candy! Would love caramel, chocolate and nuts!!

Have to say, when I first purchased them, I did not wait for the caramel to soften out of the fridge. Now, I take them out and wait for about 20 minutes...big difference in texture and even in taste!!

This is the first year I've indulged in the TSV and didn't know what to expect. I am so glad I did though we are really enjoying them. I cut one the first night they arrived and kept going back for more. I did plan on gifting most of them but I changed my mind because they are so good.

I bought the toffee lovers Mrs. Prindable apples, and they are very good. There is plenty of caramel, and toppings. The apples are fresh, and I will definitely purchase again.

I am another lover of caramel apples. I have received them from Savannah's Candy Kitchens and a couple of other websites, but Mrs. Prindables is the best (IMO).

Like another poster mentioned, I can eat 3 or 4 by myself with no help from family or friends! LOL.

Someone I work with buys them for the office every year. I can't wait for her to bring them in - they are a real treat. That crisp apple and the carmel coarting. Such a nice tasty combination.

Mrs. Prindables 8 Piece Larger Than Life Apple Assortment

three times recently. The peanut apples are fantastic, the other half went to DD and DH as I don't care for so much candy, but did sample the peanut butter cup apples and they were also delicious, I picked off the peanut butter chips, didn't like those, but the caramel was abundant on all of them.

We gave Mrs. P's apples to several people and ordered some for us. They were delicious this year. The apples were large and firm and there was a lot of caramel as well as toppings on them.

I've been buying these apples on and off since they first came to Q. Over the years the size and quality was diminished. I tried other companies with mixed results. For some reason I decided to give Mrs. P another try. I am happy I did.

Remember last year's fiasco with caramel apples?

I usually buy the Mrs. Prindable's TSV every year, but this year didn't because I don't care for the apples with sprinkles and candy-coated M&M like candies on them.

Then I saw a presentation for a set of 8 Pink Lady Mrs. Prindables apples that had the toffee toppings, triple chocolate chip and nut toppings. I had never tried the Pink Lady apples so ordered them. They were delicious! And I love the chocolate/toffee/nut toppings versus the candy. I remember when Mrs. Prindables first came to the Q, they always had a lot of nut toppings, now, not so much.

I was very pleased with this variety and would definitely order again.

Yes! You should definitely call CS and tell them you were unhappy with the food.

I've ordered many different things over the years from QVC (yes, even the apples). A few years ago I found several that had brown inside of them. I called CS and they refunded my money, no problem.

I often buy Cheryl's cookies over the years. Not often but maybe once or twice there was a problem, again, CS refunded the money.

That is one reason I buy things from QVC. I've found they back up whatever they sell. I can only speak for myself and I've never had problem getting satisfying results from CS when there has been a problem.

we didnt buy the TSV, but we DID buy the toffee lovers collection.

they were excellent......they disappear so fast that i was a bit upset i didnt order a third.

they were enjoyed by my family and by those we gave to.

good thing about qvc.....money back guarantee on food, no questions asked, it is easy to get a refund if you are dissatisfied.

We received the TSV about 2 weeks ago. They didn't last a week here. They were delicious.
