I just checked. Here in central NY it is 37 with misty rain. We are to have thunder tonight also. Last night this time I was 17 wind chill -9 and I now have 6" snow. We are to be 38 and rain on Christmas Day. The 3 month projections are all over the place above and below average. Cloudy on Groundhog Day so hopefully the furry forecasters will not be able to see their shadow. I will make sure my grandmas cupboard is stocked and hide inside on the worst days. Winter is beautiful and I love a warm sunny day when the roads are safe. I no longer have to go out at 6AM to shovel out to get to work each morning. I can wait until noon and hope the sun comes out so I can pretend I am warm.

When he came out of the store, the windshield had to be scraped. So I hope with it hitting the cold ground we haven't had any accidents due to icey conditions. No one likes ice.
