Front yard inflatable Christmas decorations---like them?

I'm seeing so many yards filled with huge Christmas dogs, dragons, trolls and even Homer Simpson. (Doh?!)

What are your thoughts on them and do you have any?

I'm not crazy about them, but to each his own. Usually these homes have kids, and the kids enjoy them so what the heck.🎅🏻

I am not really a fan but my kids love them.
As a compromise Frosty is in our backyard. lol

I don't have any of these types of decorations, but did appreciate the big turkey at the home of a friend where I had Thanksgiving dinner. When we left, it was illuminated! Kind of unexpected, but fun.

They look so incredibly SAD when they are deflated and lying on the ground during the daylight hours..................

I heard earlier this week, they take alot of electricity. A neighbor down the street only inflates their character on Saturdays - ha.

We have a store here on Long Island called Harrows which sells Christmas stuff during the fall/Christmas time and pool stuff in the warmer months.

We always say when we see these inflatables on people's lawns -- oh look, honey, someone bought stuff from Harrows and it looks like the store puked it's merchandise all over their front lawn!

But, these inflatables look a lot better on much larger property than the houses here are on (usually under a quarter acre).

I agree with Desertdi, it's rumpled plastic blobs on your lawn during the daytime.

I agree! So sad and pathetic when they are all crumpled up during the daylight house,

I guess it's nice for households with kids, but I can't say I find them all that attractive

Oh Lord! My grandson loves these SO MUCH!! One person on my daughters street has one that looks like a snow globe with snow blowing inside of it and everything. I will do almost anything my grandson asks me to do and I even thought about getting one of these for a split second but honestly I couldn't bring myself to put this in my yard. It is just too tacky.

Not my style, but kind of fun in the right setting. At the house where I saw the huge turkey...it was set in the middle of a lot of greenery. It looked like it was hiding in there.

In the middle of a bare area...I think it would have a different effect.

It's funny, our neighborhood doesn't have a lot of those blow-up characters, but the few who do certainly get my dog's attention! I walk him at night and he's always very leary of walking by a house that has these...he growls and stares at them...he also looks back at them like he thinks they're going to chase him!! For a 93 pound lab, he really is a big baby!!

I see them in many neighborhoods but most of the time, they are deflated. I really don't like them. Maybe if they stayed inflated better I might like them a little better than I do but for the most part, I find them kind of garish. Not my thing really. Sparingly they can be cute but, again, only if you keep them inflated!

I've never had one. In the neighborhood there is one house that has them. Yes, them. They have four. It's not how I would decorate, but it looks okay.

Not a fan, and I don't want them in my yard. I do appreciate people who do them for the kids, as they seem to really enjoy seeing them.
