    <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On Nov 29th &amp;nbsp;I ordered 2 books for DH for Christmas. On the 30th I got an e mail they had shipped but were coming from England and would not be here til the 15th. Fine.There was no tracking available on them though. Today I get an e mail that they only just shipped today and wont be here for a month. There is still no tracking available. I tried to cancel the order but they couldn't because they have shipped. So , at this point I hope DH doesn't mind waiting for his Christmas gift. At least I did get him something else as well, so he will have one package to open.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I would never have ordered something coming from overseas that close to Christmas. &amp;nbsp;Was it not shown in the item information somewhere that this was not being shipped directly from Amazon? &amp;nbsp;I got "burned" once by not really paying attention to where an item might be coming from with Amazon. &amp;nbsp;Good luck. &amp;nbsp;I'm sure he'll be delighted when he gets them.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm pretty sure that Amazon doesn't ship from overseas warehouses, so it sounds like a third party problem, not Amazon.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If they are shipping by ground, it might just take that long. &amp;nbsp;At least you're on the East coast so that helps.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I got an e mail the next day saying they had shipped so I felt confident they would arrive. I thought thery were on a boat &amp;amp; on their way.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sorry to hear of your issues with an Amazon Seller&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/33576"&gt;@151949&lt;/a&gt;. &amp;nbsp;I don't think Amazon would approve of the manner in which they handled your shipping info and not shipping at that time.&amp;nbsp;I'd let the seller know of your disappointment in them providing inaccurate information and you are not pleased!.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was just telling my DH how impressed I am and have been over the years with Amazon Prime (we usually order from Amazon when they are the seller or are shipping for another seller). There are some things that Amazon just doesn't sell so you do have to be so careful and check a seller's recent feedback just as you do on ebay or Bonanza or other such websites.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good thing you have another gift for your DH; sorry for your disappointment with that seller on Amazon&amp;nbsp;&lt;img id="womanfrustrated" class="emoticon emoticon-womanfrustrated" src="https://community.qvc.com/i/smilies/16x16_woman-frustrated.png" alt="Woman Frustrated" title="Woman Frustrated" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I don't think any of mine have come by boat; they have all arrived more promptly than I'd expected (usually 3-4 wks) and the shipping was reasonable - all considering they were coming from the UK to the West Coast of the US.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And then there may be stocking or release date issues. I pre-ordered Meredith Lawrence's air fryer cookbook from Amazon. I was supposed to have it 12/5. On 12/7 I had an email from Amazon that there was a delay and they had no future ship date. I can only assume something went wrong in the printing. But, that's not any fault or responsibility of Amazon's.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Whenever a third party seller is involved, I never depend on 100% accuracy. I hold only goods shipped directly from Amazon to Amazon's standards. It's a person's choice whether they use third party Amazon sellers or not, and these sellers all have store ratings that are separate from Amazon.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I wouldn't be happy about the situation, but it is what it is - from a third party seller. Amazon cannot and does not stand behind what all of their third party sellers do - that's what store ratings are for - to guide customers as to the good or bad business practices of the third party sellers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If a 95%+ rated store "falls down" on an order - well, doody happens with stocking and shipping this time of year.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Very sorry, so disappointing-&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is most likely&amp;nbsp;a vendor selling through Amazon-Unless it states, "sold by Amazon."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I won't purchase from anyone unless it is actually sold by&amp;nbsp;Amazon.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've been very fortunate I guess.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But if I were you, I'd be inclined to email Amazon-while they may not be able to change what has occurred, they do keep a strong handle on their vendors-Two weeks from England is reasonable, unless it's books.&amp;nbsp; They're heavy and usually ship via book rate and it can take a looooong time, even in the US.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've only had one issue with an Amazon shipment.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;nbsp;attempted to post my complaint to them,&amp;nbsp;recieved an immediate response asking me to please deal with them&amp;nbsp;privately first&amp;nbsp;regarding the complaint, they requested photographs and an explanation-sent it immediately-&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Seriously, in less than 24 hours a new order was at my door.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I sure hope they don't change.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Amazon always lets you know the country of origin, so you always know where the item is coming from.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Generally, I only buy Prime items but I had a similar experience with an item really&amp;nbsp;I wanted for my Thankgiving display.&amp;nbsp; It was coming from China and I thought I would receive it in time but then there was a delay and I wasn't going to get it until close to Christmas.&amp;nbsp; My fault, I shouldn't have ordered it knowing where it was shipping from.&amp;nbsp; But it came a few days after Thanksgiving.&amp;nbsp; I'll have it for next year.&amp;nbsp; Stuff happens.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Your hubby is a&amp;nbsp;grown up, he can wait for it.&amp;nbsp; He'll love it when he gets it.&amp;nbsp; On more than one occasion, I have given an adult a picture of the thing that hasn't arrived yet.&amp;nbsp; I wrap it up in a big gorgeous gift box and just tell them....this is what you'll get....when it arrives.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;To those who are leery about buying books from third-party sellers on Amazon, I really encourage you to try it. You can save quite a bit of money.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've bought new and used and have never had a problem. When buying used, I always go for "like new" or at the least, "very good." I do this for books I want to read, not for gifts, of course. I check the description and the seller's rating/feedback.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And remember that the sellers rely on feedback, so if there is a problem, contact them. The couple times that I did that, they refunded my money and no return was necessary.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Ive ordered several tops made for Zulily in and shipped directly from China. &amp;nbsp; There is some Chinese tracking, &amp;nbsp;then when they get to the US and finish with customs, &amp;nbsp;they get USPS tracking but they go all over the Midwest. &amp;nbsp; They are flown from China. &amp;nbsp; All-in-all, it takes about 4 weeks.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't have any issues with Amazon shipping, but I am having issues with QVC using USPS to ship items.&amp;nbsp; They are going from NC to GA to NJ and then electronic shipping info received by VA and then item leaves NJ.&amp;nbsp; This has been going on for 5 days now and this is happening to most of my QVC items that are being shipped USPS.&amp;nbsp; Last I heard, NC was just south of VA.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
