If you need a laugh....

Hop over to HSN and watch Adrien Arpel. She's been on with various tchotchkes for hours. Trying to convince people that "no one will know" her $30 rhinestone bracelet isn't real diamonds. Since if it was real it'd be about $100,000, I think people would know. And those pesky real diamond bracelets are so tight and uncomfortable you just can't wait to get them off, whereas HER bracelet is so comfy you'll never want to take it off. Priceless. Seriously funny. As outrageously braggy as Joy M but quieter.

I have never been able to tolerate her. She is tacky, loud, brash, and she has had so much work done that she looks, well, embalmed. How's that for an honest opinion?

I can only think that very few would disagree with you ;-)

She's easier on my ears than Miz Joy, though. That would gets the Instant Mute from me.

I like Iris Apfel and have some of her fashion jewelry. If you don't wear it all at once it is very striking.
