It's big - color is good for an ocean side site - but it's not for me.

I think it's beautiful, I love the touches of nature incorporated into it but it's way too large.

Although I can appreciate styles of decor that are not for me, this house does not say "peace and quiet" to me. There's too much going on in the interior, bordering on clutter and a lot of commotion. I don't get a sense of serenity from this house at all.

Exactly my first thought. Way too much going on inside, too much clutter and busy-ness, don't care for the furnishings or finishings (too rustic, too old-fashioned). I love nature, but only touches of rustic here and there. Otherwise, I prefer clean lines, a bit more contemporary without being cold.

Guess I won't be buying. :-)

In my younger days, this would be a perfect house for us. Now I probably would install an elevator or lift. I love the fact it sits on 15 acres. I like the floor plan, lots of space and storage. Appears to be plenty of natural light. While the decor and some of the surfaces are not my style, that is easily rectified. I love the landscaping.

I see the house was originally built in 1840 . Last sale was in 1985 for $255.000 and renovations and expansions were done in 1999. Zillow says current value now is $660,500, it is not on the market.

Beautiful!! Would love to rent it as a vacation home for our family of 15 people but I am sure it is unaffordable!! Very rustic and cozy looking even though it is so large! I really enjoyed looking at all the photos!!

From the outside it looks like they kept adding additions onto a smaller original house. From the inside the only thing I kept noticing was that those large beams made the ceilings look really low and claustiphobic. It would be impressive to show, but not to live in.
