She was 15 and had been suffering from renal failure (among other things) since January.<BR /> <BR /> Nikki was seeing a specialist for treatment until about 2 months ago, when it was determined that there wasn't much more we could do for her other than administering her daily fluids and medications. <BR /> <BR /> So, he knew that we would not be bringing her back to the Vet for exams, bloodwork, etc. It was just too stressful for her.<BR /> <BR /> Despite that fact, our wonderful Vet always answered my very frequent email seeking his advice, recommendations re medication, etc. He never charged us and was always so helpful.<BR /> <BR /> We'd like to send him a gift to show him how much we appreciate everything he did for Nikki and us.
