Why I hate my local PBS station

There's so much about PBS I like. But boy do I hate the begging! Beg, beg, beg! I actually do give to them but when they put those beg-a-thons on, it makes me feel like I haven't given enough and then I feel guilty. I even was on the phones once, taking pledges, during one of their beg-a-thons and it was fun, though I'm sure they'll never ask me back--when the camera was pointed in my direction I waved to my family and that is frowned on. (I asked family about it later and yes, they did see me )

I wish there were some other way for them to raise funds but I suppose not.
