Just thought I'd pass along a new green (well, new to ME) that I got at the Farmer's Market.

It's an Asian green called Tatsoi. I've seen a few variations in spelling when I went to find a pic of it online. It's a beautiful looking plant, the vendor at the market told me that it was a cross between spinach and mustard greens. It's quite a bit like Swiss Chard, I think, in flavor, and mild. Crunchy stems, and spinach like leaves at the end.

I just ate it in a salad with pecans, pineapple, and blueberries with a dressing of EVOO, Apple Cider Vinegar and spicy seasoning (Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy).

It was delish!!!

FYI if you're into salads and looking for new greens (I plan on cooking it, too)
