I need a new home page for my computer. Do you have any recommendations? I'm currently using Yahoo! and I'm tired of seeing the "news" they put on it!

Google news, I love it!

National news, world news and a variety of subjects to personally request for news. I have anthropology news, science news, etc.

You can also request a section for your local news, I get that for SF.

They use a wide variety of news sources so it's not biased.

I use Google as the homepage on an old, slow laptop I have. It's minimalistic in the extreme and loads fast. Those pages that show news, videos, and have a million other things on them take a long time to come up.

I recommend the .animalrescuesite.com There are about 6 charities. You click on each one to donate a bowl of food, or books on the literary site or toward aa mammogram etc. One site is for veterans, another for diabetes. You can click on any or all of them each day.

I use my email as my home page. I find it let's me know what I need to know to get the day started and also any problems that need to be addressed: Bank alerts, bills due, packages coming or delivered.
