What is Your Favorite Perfume?

I have two favorite perfumes, that are polar opposites of each other.

They are Opium and Jean Nate.

In the morning I'll spritz some Jean Nate on, and that is the only time that I'll apply it.

If I want something different, I'll wear my Opium.

So, what is your favorite perfume?

I really like L'Occitane Verbena eau d'parfum. It's very light and fresh. It doesn't cause me breathing problems. I tend to gravitate toward 'light and fresh' exclusively.

Currently, it's a tie between The Dark of Night and Long in The Grave perfume oils by Strange Charm Design.

But I also use Tova & Tova Summer, AG, Jovan White Musk, Shalimar, Fracas, Joop and some scented soaps that when I use them, stay on my skin for a good length of time!

Bright Crystal - Versace. I go for light fragrances....love Jean Nate too....wow haven't worn that in awhile...I switch it up every few years. I used to wear sunflowers by Arden

I have 3 favorites right now: Chance by Chanel, Tory Burch, and Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia.

I change by season:

Fall: Chanel #5 Eau Premiere-a little lighter than the original

Winter: Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme-vanilla, spicy, woody

Spring: back to Chanel or Tocca's Stella-bitter Italian orange-lovely

Summer-O de Lancome-fresh, citrusy, light

I love Bright Crystal but it just doesn't have any staying power on me for some reason.

I don't have one favorite or signature perfume, and my tastes change frequently. Currently, I'm enjoying the original Juicy Couture (beautiful blend), Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege (like a silk scarf), Oscar de la Renta's Esprit d'Oscar (manages to be both warm and refreshing), and some others.

Ask me tomorrow, and my selection will be different. :-)

It was the one my mother wore her whole life and I don't even know what that was. If I smelled it I could tell you that's my favorite.

My favorite perfume is Shalimar. For a daily spritz I love Moonlight Path from B&BW and in the Summer, White Citrus from B&BW.

These names intrigued me so I checked them out. I'm I interested in these, plus Fortune Teller and Black Cauldron. Have you tried those?

My favorite perfumes all have a huge patchouli note.

My all-time favorite is Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, followed by Angel. They are both cold weather fragrances in my mind.

In the summer I love David Yurman's Summer Essence, Marc Jacobs' Signature Fragrance (which is pure gardenia), Chloe Love Story, and Flowerbomb.

I'd love to buy a few Jo Malone fragrances, but I'd have to go to one of her boutiques and sniff them all. There are so many and the samples that I have are all so beautiful.

There are SO MANY MORE that I love but can't think of them all right now.

I love this thread because I love discussions about fragrances!
