I love my salad loaded with items that wouldn't necessarily go together in most people's minds. One of them would be blanched peas.

Things that wouldn't go together like beets and bleu cheese which I do like.

Christmas before last I went with my daughter and her boyfriend's house for dinner. She made a chicken salad made with broken Ramen noodle pieces, it wasn't bad. The noodles had absorbed the dressing but were still firm.

I always keep a Nuts and Seeds jar and sprinkle in whatever I've bought lately. Right now my jar has cashews and salted pepitas in it.

Sometimes I'll just sprinkle out a few handfulls as a snack instead of something sweet.
