I have used both Ebates and MrRebates.....I prefer MrRebates as I seem to get better percents off on the sites I use. But I do use both and they are very good at paying you what you are owed.

@leighagemini Yes I've been using Ebates for a few years. It's easy, it's good for most places I shop online, and every quarter they send a check. (I've read of people who have received thousands back, not me, not even close, but it all adds up).

I have been a member of ebates for sine 2009, I have earned 2, 919 back from my online purchases. First off, my husband is a big and tall and I am plus size so 90% of our shoes, clothes, plus qvc/hsn and amazon are purchased online. Also, I make an effort to go on ebates first, and if I start a purchase and forget, I will leave qve and then complete the purchase after loggin in via ebates.

I have not joing mr. rebates but I should venture over to them beause I heard the percentage is higher for QVC.

I just joined mr. rebates, the QVC percentage is higher but others stores I shop at are lower, you have to compare which site has the best percentage and go from there. IT is worth it, especially if YOU KNOW you are going to shop online. Especially if you are going to get free shipping like many sites have, it is a WIN cause you are not using gas to go to the stores, and it comes to the door.

Not even sure what the "hype" is, but my next check will be for $23.12 paid to my Paypal account. I'm happy with it.

I've done Ebates for years.

If you convert your earnings to a gift card (last quarter included a QVC option) they sometimes kick in a little extra bonus money plus you don't have to wait on an actual check and take a trip to the bank.

I've shopped through ebates for years & love it. For shopping I do anyway, I get money back. Sometimes I get a gift card for my rebate (they usually give you a certain % more back than you would get otherwise) or I have it deposited into my paypal account & then use that money to shop, again.

I had been using Rebate Blast for years and was quite happy with it - BUT - a rebate check has been pending in paypal since 03-31 and pending from Jan through end of March is still pending and nothing I bought through the site has been added. I've been emailing at least once a month and they claim they have tech issues and had me send all purchases not showing to have them validated by their concerned dept but still no fix so I started using Ebates and there is no waiting or pending for weeks or months and I got a check from the last quarter for $11 and I had only used the site less than a month. They also email every time you earn a rebate from a purchase which I like. Also many items from Amazon are inclluded but not all.

Which means you get paid 4x's a year?

How much do you have to spend online to earn just $11? Asking because I see the tv ads for Ebates on late night tv. The folks (actual people or actors?) claim they make hundreds of dollars in a month. Some in the thousands in just one month!!!!

@Mz iMac Yes, four paydays a year and it just depends on how much you shop online and where.

Each site has a different % you get back on your total and sometimes they do double cash back around holidays and special events. My biggest % earned is usually travel sites when I book vacations. I think I earned $20 just off my hotel booking alone as my biggest cash back on any one site to date.

Well worth joining and using. I wish I would have started with Ebates and Mr. Rebates when I first became a QVC shopper. Also, sometimes besides the % rebate they offer coupon codes for discount on purchases.

I'm registered with Mr Rebates and Ebates but only seem to use Mr Rebates. I wish I had signed up years ago when I ordered from QVC at an alarming rate😜

I need to check out the hotel rebates. I didn't realize that was an option.

@tansy If you go through the travel sites like expedia, travelocity, hotels.com, etc, they are all on there and I think I booked my hotel through the actual hotel site and they were listed under travel as well. I also got some money for my car rental. I racked it up this summer!

ebates offers great customer service. I use them, Mr R and ShopAtHome, I compare rates and go with the highest percentage for that day. ShopAtHome offers Rewards points and you can use them for $5 QVC gift cards. The Rewards points are in addition to the cash back.

Is there a way to stay connected to Ebates without having to go to their site before i purchase ....

No @circles I believe you need to go to the site with each purchase as I made the mistake years ago of thinking once I "activated" my activities for the day all future purchases from that site would also be included . . . yeah, no . . . . these were all QVC purchases so I assumed (bad on me) that they would all be included.

Another thing to keep in mind is if you use easy pay, that may limit the amount you receive back on a transaction. Also using coupons that on not on the rebate sight may keep you from getting any rebate.
