Cranberry Goons.....have you ever had them for dinner?

We picked up two of our little granddaughters last night to hang out with them....ages 3 and 7. My husband asked them if they had had dinner yet, and they said yes but the 7-yr-old couldn't remember what they'd had. The 3-yr-old said: "We had Cranberry Goons!", to which the 7-yr-old replied, "Oh yeah, that's right.....we had Cranberry Goons."

My husband asked "Cranberry Goons? I don't even know what that is."

So the older granddaughters said "We get them at the Chinese Restaurant when we get that chicken stuff and the rice."

Aha! Crab Rangoons! LOL!

What a cute story. I've never had Cranberry Goons or Crab Rangoons as I don't really care for Chinese and do not like Seafood.

I love crab rangoon too, but now I'll always think of them as 'cranberry goons', thanks to you and your cute granddaughters, LOL!
