Neil Cavuto - back next week!

Business commentator/reporter Neil Cavuto will be back on his two shows starting next Tuesday. Fighting MS since the late 1990's, then cancer, he recently had heart surgery. he is one of my favorites - always a twinkle in his eye, no matter what - and i will be glad to see him back- all recovered and ready to dispense his homespun wisdom.

So very happy, when I heard that yesterday. I always enjoy his shows, he is wonderful. I am thrilled he is well enough to return to the station.

I really admire the way that he's handled all of his health issues, and he's still going strong even from a wheelchair.

I concure about his return - for months I didn't know what had happened until a Google search. Yes, he does like to joke and that eye twinkle. However.......months ago read on here that Phillip of Cottage Farms had open heart surgery but have never seen another posting. I thought perhaps Carolyn (his neighbor) or somebody would report on his progress. No news is good news - so I assume he also has recovered.

gosh, i missed that news about Phillip of Cottage Farms. certainly hope he is ok. i enjoy him too!

@Blahblahvampemer I did not know Cavuto did his show from a wheelchair. I've seen no evidence of that.

@Ms X I didn't know that either and in doing some research I discovered that Janice Dean who does the weather on Fox and Friends also has MS. I wish them both the best of health and I am glad Neil will be returning.

Yes, @momtochloe, I knew she had MS. It seems to be a mild form, as she is always walking around. I'm still puzzled as to whether Cavuto is in a wheelchair.

@Ms X I don't know as the last article I found on him was from 2014 and he mentioned he was still excercising his legs and it sounded like he was still able to walk although when he was first diagnosed he did discuss his condition with Roger Ailes who said not to worry they would build ramps for him so he could continue to work.

I am glad Janice is doing so well, I never would have guessed in a million years she had this diagnosis. I was also reminded that Anne Romney also has MS . . . sigh.

Hi @chickenbutt Neil Cavuto is a host on both Fox News and the Fox Business Channel. He mostly focuses on financial areas but his shows do wander into other areas.

I too am a big fan of Neil. I did not know he has had so many health issues. I did hear about his heart surgery and I sure hope that is the end of his health problems.

Oh man! Thanks for posting this!

I had no idea he was gone, as I've not been watching lately (too many irons in the fire) and I certainly didn't know about his surgery.

I admire him so very much. He as been through so much, but still has this great attitude. I love to watch him, not only for his expertise, but he makes me laugh and appreciate life.

i find him not only informative and witty, but also inspiring. as you say, his attitude is exemplary. he is kind of an "upper!"

I've seen Neil walking around on the air. Charles Krauthammer is in a wheelchair, but he is paralyzed from an accident when he was young. I'll have to google that about Neil.
