Anyone Try the New Mini Sparkle Paper Towels?

We found the new mini Sparkle paper towels in our Walmart once. Since then, they have not been carrying them but are available on their online site. We just have them sent free direct to the store.

The towels are the perfect size...7.3" x 7.3". There is so much less waste with them than even with the select-a-size towels. They fit onto a vertical holder, but not if you have a wall-mounted horizontal holder. There are 90 towels per roll. This was not my usual brand of paper towel before, and I still buy my usual brand for the horizontal holder. These are so useful for many purposes...small spills, as a napkin, even to use as a coaster under a glass in a pinch!

Anyone else try them yet?

@Yardlie...I had not heard of them until now, so thanks for the info. I have always bought the select-a-size or use cheap napkins from the 99 Cent store for small clean ups.

I hadn't heard of these either, but it sounds like a good thing, I don't like waste.

I use the Sparkle paper towels that have the halvsies and really like those.

Brinklii, thanx for mentioning these paper towels. who knew! I looked them up because I never heard of them, and it had great reviews. this would be good for when we travel or even to leave in the car. thanks for the great idea!

@freakygirl ...Great idea...putting a roll in the car! Somebody is always eating something in the car...or useful if the windshield gets all fogged up! Thanks for the idea!

Had never heard of the mini version but I love Sparkle so will look into getting me some. Sometimes you just need a piece and these would be great.

I've never heard of the Mini towels but I do use the Sparkle Pick-A-Size paper towels all the time. I don't use paper towels for clean ups (that's what my dish cloth and washing machine are for). I use them in cooking and prep. If I cut up a lot of lettuce to have salad all week, I'll put them in my plastic bags to help eliminate the moisture (Yes, I do use a salad spinner). I also use them to cook my turkey bacon in the microwave and tons of other Kitchen uses that I've forgotten about at the moment.
