She (yes, I checked) never made an attempt to come in or never sat at the door and meowed or anything....well, when I came home from work tonight, she ran to my car and meowed and followed me all the way to my apartment and came in. At first I put her back out but when I looked out on the porch, a big possum was out there eating her food and she was just sitting under the chair looking pitiful so I banged on the door and the possum ran away but she stayed and started meowing and I let her in....I was not planning on doing it...but here she is. She is not declawed as I originally thought,,,but my question is this.</P> <P>Do cats have a mating season? I mean, could she be pregnant? I thought they mated in the spring....but I don't know....I am going to take her to the vet as soon as I can. But was just wondering if anyone knows. I checked her underside and I don't see any nipples but I was just curious as to why NOW she decided that she wanted "an owner". Any thoughts would be appreciated.
