topic Amazon Prime Kindle lending library questions in Community Chat

I do not have a Kindle, but love and read on my IPad regularly. I am an Amazong Prime member, but cannot access the free lending library from my IPad for some reason. Maybe it is only accessible from a Kindl? Is there a good selection of free books there, as it might be worth it for me to purchase a basic Kindle if there is a good selection... I typically try not to pay more than $6-$8 for books on Amazon but free would be so much better... There isn't a good selection of library books at my online local library - I've only checked out a couple as most are checked out with a long wait and there isnt a great selection anyway. Looking for access to current titles on a lending basis (short term) so if someone has suggestions I'd appreciate it!
