My DL expires tomorrow and ALL Kansas DL offices are closed until next Tuesday.</P> <P>I am mad at myself for forgetting. When I called them they said, sorry you can't get it until next Tuesday because all state offices are closed for a week. They told me I should have seen on the news that they were closed! Well, I DID NOT see it on the news. So now I can't drive until next Tuesday.</P> <P>I looked it up and it is a misdemeaner if I drive with an expired license punishable by up to 6 months in jail although the article said it (jail) wouldn't be enforced. My luck is that they would make a first time example of me. </P> <P>I guess I'm grounded Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I do think they need to make exceptions since THEY are closed but I guess they don't.</P> <P>Grrrr.....I have to work too! DH will have to drive me. What a pain.</P> <P>What makes me so angry is that I reminded DH several times to get his. I reminded my daughter. No one reminded me and I forgot.
