Ticketmaster vouchers

Yesterday Ticketmaster gave out vouchers to customers who bought tickets between 1999-2013. Apparently there was some sort of class action settlement.

I received 42 vouchers for $2.25. You can use one voucher per new ticket. Big deal when tickets are $100+. I have until 2020 to use all 42.

Even if I could use all of them at once, I couldn't get a ticket to a concert unless I chose to sit behind the black curtin behind the stage. (even then, it might not be enough)

Notification is in your Ticketmaster account under vouchers. I would not have known except for the fact I heard a news story.

just went into my ticketmaster account.

i have two sets of FREE tickets (total of four) for eligible events.

i have four $2.25 codes. does this mean a ticket will cost me $2.25 or is it a discount of $2.25?....it is a little unclear.

i have two $5 discount UPS codes if i have the tickets delivered.

all expire 6/18/20

they are not good for ALL events......there is a special list you have to keep checking. right now there are no events listed for my area.

Thanks for the list. The discussion I heard yesterday said the list would not be available for awhile. They also said the voucher was worth face value but if you can purchase a ticket to an event for the voucher price, it would be great.

It said in your link you can get up 17 vouchers. I have 42 of them! It is possible that my husband used my email address when he purchased tickets.

I think my grand total was around $6 which doesn't even really cover the processing fee if I remember right. I bet the lawyers for the class action suit got more than any of us did. They may actually be around the free ticket mark.

Emails about the settlement have been sent out with information on how people can receive up to 17 discount codes to be used for future online ticket purchases. Each of the codes is worth a $2.25 credit and up to two can be used per transaction. If your tickets were delivered by UPS, you can get an additional $5 discount code per transaction that can be applied towards future UPS charges

You will have until June 18, 2020 to use your codes.

Ticketmaster is also offering free tickets to some events. To access your tickets, go to your Ticketmaster account and click on the "Your Account" link. Once there, scroll down and look at the bottom of the left hand side and you will see another link to "Active Vouchers." Click there and you're taken to a list of discount codes as well as links for the free tickets.

Customers should receive one free voucher for every purchase made during the period of time covered by the lawsuit.

The vouchers won't cover every concert, but the company said it will cover events at about 60 percent of productions.

I lied.

I checked again and I have several "potentially redeemable for two general admission tickets to certain LiveNation concert events" They expect these types of codes to be "redeemed quickly" so I guess unless you want to go see the chicken pecking on the piano or find a 12 year old hacker to be first in line for the two ticket release they'll do for each one of the shows, they don't really mean anything.

Some of the people in the newsroom (yesterday's discussion) received free tickets. When I saw I had $2.25 vouchers, I thought they'd misspoken. Then again I have 42 of them and it says you can have up to 17. I cannot be sure, but I guess we purchased a total of 42 tickets within the time frame and we were given the token voucher.

You are fortunate to get a free ticket voucher.

I looked (briefly )at the Live Nation list; there isn't a concert listed I could drag my husband to. They must update the list as my vouchers are good until 2020.

I have been purchasing tickets since 2003 on my account and I have no vouchers. Is this strictly for concerts?
