I hope I'm posting in the appropriate place. Amazon is offering a free 30 day trial membership so I signed up. I ordered some items but when I went to check out, I noticed there was shipping and handling. I always thought that one of the perks of Prime is that all items ship for free. Am I correct or incorrect? I didn't complete the order as I want to find out if they are charging me shipping and handling in error.

there are several shipping prices you have to make sure it's marked on the free prime shipping button.

if you know for sure you won't continue prime you could go in your account and check off do not continue, you will not be charged after 30 days and you will still get the free trail for 30 days, I have personally done that

This isn't related to Amazon Prime, but I just received an email from Walmart - sounds like they are testing something similar. Two day shipping for $49/year. Like Prime, no minimum order required. Not sure if it's being rolled out to everyone or if they selected a few for the pilot launch.
