    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;great information here about buying online and refusal of packages!&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;This has happened to me at least once and only once did it go thru as another addy in my address book. The hassle was enough to make me watch closely as my orders are processed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Q's online ordering seems to me to be laid out more clearly than another online retailer (A). Twice I have had to cancel/reorder from A at th moment of order confirmation b/c the package was set up to go to the wrong address.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>QVC's Major Mess!</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;OK, I debated on putting this out there but I will. &amp;nbsp;I was checking my auto-deliveries tonight and one thing led to another (checking the account).&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I saw where some of the things I'd ordered were being sent to one of my daughters (in another state, different name).&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Long story.....short. &amp;nbsp;Back when I'd had something sent to her the person working for QVC changed my information so that everything would be sent to my daughter, not me!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I usually order everything automatically by phone, but I wanted something (cookies) sent to her, so I talked to a person that one time. &amp;nbsp;It was then that the STUPID person pushed or did something to switch my address with my daughters so that everything, everything would go to her!!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;She lives in a place where deliveries are taken to some place and she picks them up. &amp;nbsp;People aren't allowed to come into the area. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I was lucky tonight, I got someone on Customer Service who was intelligent. &amp;nbsp;I was so frustrated, I said to just cancel all of it rather than have my daughter try to repack it to get it mailed to me.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;The CS rep and I finally decided it would be easier for my daughter to just refuse delivery on all of these items and send them back to QVC. &amp;nbsp;So, I will no longer get the items and I will have to make sure I don't get charged for them and so on and so on.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;There have been a few times when I've spoken to QVC reps who answer the phone that they didn't know their head from a hole in the ground. &amp;nbsp;It was usually later in the evening and/or on the weekends. &amp;nbsp;I don't know if that has anything to do with it, just something I've noticed.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;It might sound like not a big deal but I order a lot of things (clothes mostly) so we're talking about quite a few items over a period of over 2 weeks!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I'm posting this to warn people to make sure QVC has not changed the address they have on record of where you want the items sent.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I noticed they've changed the recording when you order automatically now, so make sure they have the right address.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;If this helps even one person here, it's been worth it to post this mix up. &amp;nbsp;I wouldn't ordinarily do this because I don't want people coming on here bla blaing about how they check their stuff and it would never happen to them and so on and so on. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Then there's my favorite (?) posters who brag that they don't order anything or much from QVC. &amp;nbsp;Good for them.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Same thing happened to my son with amazon. He ordered online, and somehow it flipped from his address to mine. The confirmation emails had his address only, &amp;nbsp;then the shipping notices had mine. &amp;nbsp;I ended up mailing &amp;nbsp;his packages to him.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It was only once he sent something to me a couple of years ago. &amp;nbsp; He deleted any ship-to addresses besides his own so it can't happen again.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Tracking isn't always accurate.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Not only that but USPS never rings the bell and if they can stuff it in my mailbox they do. UPS is already in their truck till I get to the door sometimes.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Thanks to everyone for your kind replies. &amp;nbsp;I think QVC needs to accept responsibility for lack of training these people.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I remember about that time (it was late in the evening) and both times the people who were helping me kept saying, "Just a minute, just a minute". &amp;nbsp;It was obvious they didn't know what they were doing.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I realize they are being apologetic but when you're on the other end waiting and keep hearing the same thing, it gets frustrating.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Now QVC has added that phrase where you push the 1 button if it is going to yourself. &amp;nbsp;What's that about? &amp;nbsp;I think they just don't take time to train these people. &amp;nbsp;It has to be frustrating for them too.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I send a lot of things to my youngest daughter in Colorado. &amp;nbsp;I've had this happen with credit cards. &amp;nbsp;A few years ago they switched cards in the computer and everything was going to the card I use for specific things. &amp;nbsp;I did what someone here suggested with addresses, I deleted all other cards.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;My daughter just recently moved and I can't ever remember her address. &amp;nbsp;Some of these new addresses are hard to remember.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="2"&gt;I order more things for others than I do for me.&amp;nbsp; I usually order on line, but occasionally call in.&amp;nbsp; Online you see the shipping address.&amp;nbsp; On phone orders, you are asked where the items should be shipped.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="2"&gt;If this is QVC's mistake (although I cannot see how as the customer confirms the information)&amp;nbsp; your daughter can use the return labels and they will credit you with the shipping.&amp;nbsp; Refusing items often times takes longer for proper credit.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
