is "honored and humbled" to be auctioning off "an American firearm icon". The gun he used to kill Trayvon Martin.

Will this man ever fade away? I can't believe he is still in possession of that gun. Frightening. A huge slap in the face to the family who lost a young son to this poor excuse for a human.

I find it disgusting. I, too, cannot believe LE returned the weapon to him. A vile way to make money.

The Martin family has suffered so much at the hand of this person. Now to have to endure this further insult is horrific. Hopefully this is the last we hear of Zimmerman.

I too find Zimmerman disgusting but unless they are looking to buy a gun and run into this - how would the Martin family even know it is for sale? I didn't know because I don't go to gun sites to look.

He was found not guilty and the gun should have been returned to him. I find it inappropriate he'd be auctioning it off though. "I am honored and humbled to announce the sale of an American firearm icon," That statement is just disturbing. Honored and humbled? What?!
