Halston is an elegant collection and I feel it needs to have a professional hostess

who is NOT outspoken and always talking about her family as does Jayne Brown.

I like the Halston collection but I will not continue to watch it if Jayne Brown is the host.

I actually think Jane Brown is a very professional host. She provides the garment information very well and that's what I need to make my decision on purchasing the item. Just an FYI, you can always shop online.

I AGREE....Jayne is very professional and informative.

I think she is AWESOME.

Just different strokes for different folks I guess.

I like having Jayne as the host. She gives the pertinent info that I need to make a decision.

It is funny how we can experience things so differently. I rarely get to see Jayne hosting but whenever I do catch her, I think she presents fashion with a lot of helpful detail. She is highly professional (and fun) in my view. I'd happily watch her present any fashion line.

Don't be cray cray - Jayne Brown is one of the best Q has. Even on a bad day she runs circles around most hosts

You must be confusing the Jayne Brown with the other Jane.

I love Jayne Brown, the black lady, as she is very much a professional, she describes the garment, the fabric, how it fits, she will even describe how it fits her. I like that she stays focused on the item that is being sold.

The other Jane discusses her family, what they had for lunch, and although I like her too, at times it's more about her than what is being sold.

With Jayne Brown, I feel like I can make an informed decision about purchasing, when she's the host, it's almost like standing right there in person.

Jayne Brown did a lovely job this morning with the Halson line. She isn't hyper or screaming and competing with the spokesperson.

I got the impression that Cameron, the Halston vendor, rather enjoyed working with Jayne. I enjoyed the show. I enjoy watching Jayne and any host when she (they) host solo.

I think Jayne or Jane either are more than great hosts to present this "elegant" collection. I don't see anything that QVC sells that they aren't more than qualified to present. I think either lady is more than elegant than QVC clothing. Nothing against Q clothing but I wouldn't say it has more elegance or class than anything else here.

I've been watching here for many years - and she just gets better and better.

I have no idea what your defintion of professional is, but I suspect what you consider professional I consider boring - something that sens me away from my TV to a highjly impersonal website where i buy pretty much nothing unless it's a repeat of something I've already tried and found to suit me - just nothing new like Halston still is to me.

To Jayne, should you see this - keep up the good work.

@cherlynn I'm not sure what your definition of "NOT outspoken," and "always talking about her family" could be. I saw the Halston show; in the entire hour, Jayne Brown mentioned she & her husband celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary -- once.

Did you actually see the show? Or, did you merely see the host name (perhaps the wrong perceived host name) in the program guide and went straight to the forum?

I didn't think she was. Certainly Jane Treacy talks much too much about her personal stuff. But I do think Jayne Brown also talks quite a bit about her family. She often mentions her daughters (and I notice that because she pronounces "daughters" different than I do in the midwest - with a kinda NY accent twinge to it) and tennis, etc.

So I thought the OP did mean Jayne Brown, although I didn't watch that particular show.

I got the same impression. Jayne is so much better to watch when she's not on with Pat or another host. She needs to be the only host. She and Cameron were enjoyable to watch.

I don't think H is elegant at all. It looks like the rest of the tshirt type clothes. I don't like watching either Jane.
