Of course I iron - becuse I like to look neat and polished. DH and I have both been retired for some years now, but we don't like to look as though we don't know the difference in crisp and fresh and it's just ok out of the dryer. I even prefer my jeans to be ironed and creased. I iron almost every day and honestly find it relaxing.

As for DH ironing, I see no reason not to do his things as well as mine. He does many things - especially the outside work - and I can't think of any reason other than downright laziness that would keep me from doing my share. I wasn't raised to be a princess.

iron? I was looking for something special to wear today as I am going out for lunch. I found a real cute top that I haven't worn in a really long time and it needs ironing. I had no idea where my iron was. It was in the basement. It's a Rowenta and I haven't used it in years. I used to iron my husband shirts all the time and now it's always casual at work and when he does where a shirt he just brings it to the laundry now. I ironed my top and off I went. Not a wrinkle on it. Thanks.
