Best Candles for Candle Warmers

HI everyone. A while back I expressed my excitement at finding candle warmers! I am scared of fire and don't like things to go to waste, so I never bought candles. Candle warmes allow you to warm the cancle wax and get the throw of the fragrance while preserving the scent much longer than burning the wax. Through the years I have discovered which candle brands are the best for candle warmers because they do indeed last months. There are some brands that are really no good because after you warm the wax once, it turns and doesn't smell the same. Hope you find this helpful!

Diptyque, Trapp, Nest--These candles aren't cheap but they really do last and can be warmed again and again.

Tocca, Trish Mcevoy, Illume-These brands lose the scent rather quickly. You may be better of burning them. It may have something to do with the kind of wax that is used. Maybe someone here knows a bit more about that.

Walmart brand candles--Don't even thing of warming them. They last exactly one "warm".

Also, does anyone have any experience with Jo Malone candles? I am thinking of investing in one. Neiman Marcus sent me a$50 off $100 gift card that must be used!

I've been using a tart warmer for at least 20 years and I've tried them all......store brands and ones recommended on the internet....the very best by far are the tarts I buy from Cuyahoga Valley Candle........been using them exclusively for the past few years.....will never buy another brand.......I hope you give them a try.....reasonably priced for how long the scent lasts.....

I am very partial to Yankee Candles in my warmer & I can keep using them over & over without the scent lessening. Same thing with Kroger's Village Candle, I've the orange/cinnamon in my warmer now... it's a nice scent..

I bought a $6 candle warmer, which is basically like a hot plate, to extend the life of my Nest candles. They leave about a 1/4 inch of wax when they are burned out. The warmer liquifies the wax, but the throw of the scent is only about 50% of when lit. Nest is a higher quality brand, so I was disappointed that the throw wasn't stronger. It may be that the warmer isn't getting warm enough, but I'm sure there are limits to how hot they are allowed to let the plates get.
