Was their visit covered by one or more film crews?

The ABC Evening News answered my question. A film crew recorded he and his wife's arrival to and leaving from the memorial. No cameras are allowed inside the memorial building, but some fellow visitors with cellphones covertly snapped shots of the couple while inside the building.

It's always exciting to see a well-known person close up. The only person I ever came in close contact with was Robert Kennedy. I stood right behind him and touched his shirt. It was in the mdidle of summer and he was all sweaty and smelled.

@Deb1010yetagain I have never seen Melania but I saw Trump in person. I couldn't tell you how tall except taller than average - I wasn't looking at him for height nor standing close enough to him to judge him compared to my own height. But my first thought was about his hair of course. First of all, it's pretty much gray, even though it often comes across as orange-ish on my TV set. No, it's gray and the day I saw him it was quite long in the back. The rest of it wasn't so I didn't think he "needed a haircut"; it's just he wears it quite a bit longer in the back than I would have expected. And from the front - really a "combover" was not noticeable. It totally looked fine, much to my great surprise! The other thing that surprised me was his energy - in his step, in his animated talking, etc. Lots of pep to his step for a man who will be 70 yrs. old and is overweight. Really, I thought he looked just fine and normal, which I wasn't really expecting (esp. the hair!).

Many years ago, we were on a flight w/Ray Charles & his assistant. He was just so gracious to us fans while we gushed a bit, then everyone left him in peace. Nice memory. 🙂

Nothing political here. Just wanted share that I saw a real celebrity . Hair was very blond and at full mast. His wife was wearing 4 inch spiked heels. I would have thought that as a New Yorker he would have been to the museum before today.

@KathyPet You thought his hair was blond? The day I saw him I'm sure it was gray! Or perhaps more accurately gray-on-its-way-to-turning-white. Maybe that's what you saw?

I've seen him. He is taller than average, over 6' as that's how tall my husband is. His hair was sort of strawberry blond.
