I had shoulder surgery many years ago and over the years that shoulder has locked up on me and I could barely lift my shoulder. Now, after using Teeter for only one week, I have full range movement - I can't believe it! I have so much more movement in my neck also. I fell and busted my chin open as a child (twice) and two of the bones in my neck are fused together. I can now move my neck with full movement to the right and left. I love my Teeter! I think my hips are going to take a little longer - feeling much better, but I get on it twice a day for about 10 minutes. Wish I had purchased this years ago!

My chiropractor has one in his office for clients and I tried it out. If you like the blood rushing to your head, go for it. The foot and ankle holder was uncomfortable and there was no adjustment he could make to alleviate the discomfort and it's not like I have smallish feet but average size for a woman. When I used to be able to do a headstand the blood rush felt identical. He said that if one feels pain to stop immediately and no one should just blindly buy one without trying it out first.

I have been interested in a teeter table for a long time. I live alone, once I read do not use if no one is in the house with you. Also is it difficult to put together?

So glad you are finding value in it, and feeling improvement in your issues.

My son has always wanted one, and I'd love to try it. I have a lot of hip issues and neck issues, and have always thought it might give me some relief.

A question, though. Can you begin with these very slowly, and not go full blown upsidedown? I feel like I'd probably pass out if I just went full force with this initially, as I do have a vertigo issue, but usually it is with leaning or laying to the left, not straight back.

I push back as far as I can go and it allows a nice stretch for the body without being upside down.

Just an FYI. Inversion tables are not recommended for people with many common problems. GERD, High blood pressure, Intercranial pressure, hernia, glaucoma, pregnancy, etc. CHECK before jumping into one. Yoga can help with flexibility and back pain.
