Ladies: Go to Costco.com - and search Birkenstocks. There is a pair of leather sandals and a thong-style for $59.99 each. I wear size 7 wide - but in Birkenstocks, I wear 37 Regular. They run on the large side. Shipping included in the price.

I wish the Q hadn't stopped selling them. So many cute styles & patterns. Love the soft insoles & now I'm glad I bought several pairs. I rarely buy anything anymore.

All of the suede models are only in the soft footbed as far as I know. It is also not really apparent if they are the "narrow" or the "regular". Most often you will find only narrow being sold since they seem to meet the regular USA standard. I would be cautious.

I agree, DC. Whatever yukkity yuk discontinued the brand and brought us Vionic, Earth and more Clarks instead really messed up IMHO. Birks is a higher end casual wear legacy shoe company. There is a reason Nordies continues to stock them. Earth brand is a made in China Birkenstock wannabe. The "leather" used is taken from any animal, btw according to the disclaimer <<YUCK>>

Please buyers bring us back our Birkenstocks and not a QVC "dumbed down" version either.

Love my Berkies,,, miss seeing them here... I Used to love my Clarks but I have had the bottoms come apart from the shoe on three pairs so far,,, two of my friends are having the same issue, all of our shoes are different Clark designs ,,,

fyi...if you look at the foot picture in the shoe you will know if it is narrow or wide....solid foot is narrow, outlined foot is wide...

Add my name to the list of those who wish that Birkenstocks would return to QVC! I much prefer their shoes to Clark and Vionic which don't fit me nearly as well! It's true that you can get Birks at B&M stores, but their styles are not nearly as cute as those that I purchased from the Q! Listen up, Q buyers - bring back the Birkenstocks!!!!!

I agree with all of the statements. This was the worst thing Q ever did. I love Birkenstocks, have many from Q and wish they still carried them. But all of our protesting will not bring them back. It is too bad!!

.... WHOOPS.... I ONLY wore Birkenstocks for years when I lived in So. Calif. I would buy two pairs a year (not because they wore out, just to get new styles) so my collection was large. I'd still be buying them but I now have to wear a shoe that encases my entire foot due to the fact that I walked out of a pair of mules going down our stairs and had a serious fall..... but I'd still be wearing them if that fall hadn't happened~!

I've tried Earthies and NO WAY! I've returned all but two pairs of boots from them, and those boots were one of their early offerings. I even sent back a $150 pair.... horrible fit nd felt bad too.... and I am an off the shelf size 9M with no foot issues (other than being scared spitless of accdently kicking off a mule while walking).....

Yes, I agree, whomever was the brain that decided to stop offering Birkis on QVC needs an intervention.... and I agree about "there's a reason Nordstrom still carries them".... so does Dillards by the way.... every time I pass their display I think to myself that I should buy a pair....

I always enjoy Sally Combs, when she was with Birkenstock and now with another (Earth?) Brand. Wish Q had kept selling Birkis.

I remember when I first started watching QVC, I was shocked to find out they sold the Birks. I didn't realize they still made them anymore!

Clarks are no longer the same brand. they are cheaply made and not consistant with the sizing. I find the vionic very uncomfortable.

Door County: I agree with your comment. Use to purchase a couple pairs every season. Since they left rarely do I buy a pair of shoes from Q.

Desi: Do u have a friend or family member that is a Costco member? They could purchase for u and you'll reimburse them. QVC sold Regular width - same as Costco's Birkenstock. I wear WIDE - but Regular fits perfectly. I own over 20 pairs of Birkenstocks/Birkie's/Betula - some from the Q and most from 6PM.com.

@hennypenny - When Clark's were made in England and even when they were made in Italy, they were quality shoes. I have pairs from back then that are still going strong and one pair of sandals in particular (Italy), I get compliments every time I wear them. And they're over 10 years old!

Since they've been being made in China, the sizing and quality is so inconsistent, I no longer buy them. And that makes me sad, to see such a wonderful brand deteriorate.

I still have old clarks with the three straps. Not as chic as they were many years ago, but just as comfy and well made.

It took me three tries to get a TSV from clarks to fit. the perforated leather with the rope bottoms. I dont know why I kept trying.

If you watch the fish bowl show some of the people tell the contestants that they are not doing well because they don't manufacture in China. That is the bottom line for many companies today. Quality doesn't seem to count.
