The article states that his prison nickname is "chomo" for child molester.

I don't know if there are any lifers at that prison, but if there are, they have nothing to loose by going after him.

I don't condone what he did. But he is in prison... rightfully so. But I do think the system shoud protect those INSIDE. Being beaten up should not have been part of the sentence. And what it will come to...he will have to get protection from some other unsavory person or group and it goes on and on.

He's a poor excuse for a man. Of course it's was a matter of time before he got beat up by prisoners. I am sure he will continue to get beaten up even if he is in solitary confinement.

@Karnerblue True enough. But as you say, that doesn't mean I have to feel sorry for him when the second wrong happens. If Chomo hadn't committed crimes in the first place, he wouldn't be in a situation now to be beaten up (not that the beating was right of course). I keep visualizing that smirk he always had on his face and his denying having any participation in the child pornography that his partner was under investigation for. Who is smirking now?

I think it's sickening to celebrate any kind of violence committed on another human being. I totally agree with the poster who said beatings are not part of his sentence.

I'm satisfied just in the fact this man is behind bars.

Thank you LD. Feeling smug that someone is beaten or r@p&d in prison ignores the fact that most of these inmates will be released someday into society. Do we really want to turn out embittered and vengeful ex-cons?

For the most part inmates are put away because of a "violent" crime of one kind or another. With them still doing violent things inside does not say much for rehabilitation or our own safety when they are released.

However, I do see the side for the sake of the children involved by these sick beings.
