Remember playing that song on the juke box!

Takes me back to my very early childhood, when they must have been still playing it on the radio.

Was it "HIgh Noon" @SoX? It was also used in the Gunsmoke series.

I'm going to sound like a dinosaur now, but that era had so much really fabulous music.

The singers were classy, dressed beautifully and could tell a story by singing the song. They didn't scream or screech. The lyrics weren't angry or ugly or laced with bad language. Maybe there might be an exception to that, but I cannot think of any right now.

Feeling sad today for all those lovely songs and singers that are gone by. I miss the sweet, impossibly romantic lyrics sung by beautiful voices!

I'm mistaken ... Frankie Laine sang the theme song from the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral ... which is another great song from back then.

My mom had a 78 record of that song. Remember those?

She played it a lot and we use to sing to it.
