Thank-You Mods For All the Hard Work That You Do!

I just wanted to take a moment to say "thank-you", for all of the hard work that you do.

I'm sure that at times it can be a thankless job, and some of us may not always agree as to why a thread was closed, but I, and I'm sure others do appreciate all the hard work that your team does, at keeping this place civilized!

A big thank you from me as well. I'm not happy with every decision - but hopefully no one is happy with every decision - it demonstrates that the moderators are as fair as possible, whether we always like it or not.

If one is consistently unhappy with most decisions, I'd say the issue was theirs and they need to adjust. Being unhappy with some decisions - well, it *is* Get Over It Day ;-)

They do a very good job even though sometimes they let some of the resident bullies go off the chain. That part is getting tiresome. That I wish they would change...fair all around.

No thanks from me. I think it was not a wise decision to have QVC employees monitor this board. I rarely post here anymore. The removal of so many posts is just nuts. Control, control, control. Let the people speak.

I like that the moderators remove the mean spirited, nam-calling and vicious posts about hosts, vendors, and other posters. It is ok to disagree but there is no reason for rude and hateful comments.

@wilma, not all the time do they remove rude and hateful comments. I've seen times they just let it go on and get even worse. I am grateful it isn't like it used to be but I'd love to have the ignore button back.

Those are QVCs rules. It's not so much control. It's moderation. Act like children and break the rules, then a babysitter is needed. this is not a public forum

You're right. Ignore would be nice to have back. I think for the most part the nasty posts are deleted, but I am sure I miss a few since I avoid threads that seem to be going that way.

You're right. Ignore would be nice to have back. I think for the most part the nasty posts are deleted, but I am sure I miss a few since I avoid threads that seem to be going that way.

@wilma, I so agree with you and I'm sorry to say lots of my opinion, from now on, will be kept to myself and I, too, am avoiding thread that seem to be going that way. I took the target off my back, LOL .

The posters who have serious issues with the moderation demonstrate *why* they have issues with their every response here. The vast majority of forum posters have no or occasional moderation issues. The posters who are extremely unhappy with all moderation are exactly the posters QVC would be happy to see leave, though sadly, threats to leave or seldom post are rarely carried out.

Coupon codes have always been a standards violation and were poofed. Nothing new. And "out of line" is in the eye of the beholder lol.

What do emails have to do with a board mod's job? And why do people think they can judge somebody's else's job "hardness" if they don't know exactly what it involves or if they haven't walked in those shoes? Have you moderateda board or do you know their job description and duties?
