It is such a beautiful unexpected a day here

I am just so tickled here in the north (western PA) we're having a brief reprieve from Winter. The sun is brightly shining, my front door and sky light is open and I think we broke a temperature record. It was about 69 degrees an hour ago. Very windy, but I enjoy that too.

I walked down the lane to get the mail and sat out on the porch for a bit. Its these little gifts in life that I have found I appreciate most. Hope my other northern neighbors are enjoying the same weather.

The same beautiful day here in South-Central Wisconsin. Most snow has melted revealing the lawn cleanup duty in our future. Hoping we have seen the last of the fluffy white stuff.

Wow that is certainly nice. It's only 71 here in Florida. I looked up the temperature in Cranberry,Pa on weather bug and it said 55.

Last weekend the temps here in upstate NY were close to 20 below zero. Today, one week later, the temperature is close to 60. It was such a beautiful day, so appreciated, a little hint of spring, which is WAY off.

@deepwaterdotter So glad you are also sharing this beautiful day. I think here they are watching another front coming thru next week from the south which may bring more snow. I'm not complaining as it still has been a mild winter for us, its just hard to relinquish the nice weather we're having today.

Hi, @151949, I use Weather Underground or AccuWeather. Cranberry Township is about 35 miles north east of us, but I think they are in the 60s also. I didn't check Weather Bug though. I think we hit our high around 2:30.

Here in Chicago we had that wonderful weather yesterday, very windy but I opened windows & enjoyed every minute of it. Today is a little cooler, less wind, still a bonus for this time of year.

It is a beautiful sunny day here in the PNW also. It is in the low 50's and I have been outside trying to get a start on the weeding! Rain is predicted for tomorrow.

We are in Westchester county and it's gorgeous. I see a lot of bulbs poking out of the ground.

It is lovely here where I live also! 60ish, Sunshine, crocus bulbs are blooming, birds are singing! feels like spring!

@spent2much, I took my puppy out for his first walk this year, too. Beautiful day! I think he loved it as much as I did. I also accomplished another of the first after-snow-melts rituals today, poo patrol in the backyard. Glad THAT'S done!

In WNC, our hi was about 61. A hawk sat about eight feet from me on a low branch at the edge of our woods.

It was about 70 or more here in Indiana - lovely! Washed the car and picked up sticks in the backyard while my Story laid in the yard enjoying the sun. Makes me want spring even more! We were about 68 yesterday but had 50 mph wind gusts - it was very noisy outside yesterday. Today much, much better. Sedona and Story are sound asleep after enjoying the weather - and, oh by the way, it was soooo nice to have my doors and windows open!

@MaggieMack What kind of puppy and how old? Puppies are soooooo adorable - I just melt for puppies. Yes, the poo patrol - I stick hubby with that!

@spent2much, oh, I hope I haven't misled you! My little Golden Doodle is three, but still very much a puppy at heart! I will probably refer to him as my "puppy" when he's 14! He is adorable beyond words. (He's my avatar).
