Does anyone read The Daily Mail UK

Today the Daily Mail Online posted a story about Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka.

Their writers sound like folks from the romance novels.

In one description of the Harris and Burtka vacation in St. Barts they wrote: '... cooled off in the ocean waters and splashed their dark manes with the salty tides'.

Yep.

The Daily Mail is notorious for writing such 'prose'. I get my daily chuckle combing over the articles.

I do check the Daily Mail site, but I did not read that article. If's difficult to take this site seriously and it does attract some very strange people. Not us, of course!

Yes, I look at it. It seems like I see the latest news, gossip, etc. there before anywhere else. Their writing is atrocious.

I read the Daily Mail only occasionally and for entertainment purposes; like @proudlyfromNJ said, the writing is atrocious.

I follow Neil Patrick Harris and also David Burtka, both on Instagram.

I love their pix, especially as David is a chef and makes really creative things.

I've seen their vacation pix, very nice. They went on a getaway, just the two of them. Usually they are with their kids, a boy and a girl, twins and very cute. They are always doing really wonderful family things together.

Love the pix from last fall of David teaching the kids how to make apple juice from a very old apple press. Hand done, nothing electric. Charming.

The Daily Mail is a daily habit of mine. It is surprising to me how much of what they report is repeated in news cycles. I enjoy it.

I find their updates hilarious. I must be demented because their descriptions on individuals attire and their physical attributes are hilarious.

On a girls lunch a Bud told a fellow Buddy she had a 'pert derriere' and we all laughed.

I read just the left hand column on US news. They seem to have it more quickly than anyone else. However, I also think they should hire me as an editor. The editing of their stories can be abominable.

They sure have some large, clear, excellent photos though, no matter what the subject matter is. I often check into DM UK when I want to see good, large photos. I also often wonder how they get those photos so quick/quickly, too. Guessing that they have their photographers just about everywhere over here?

I THINK - I am sure ... but the camera's can send the pictures off to the Daily Mail - no need to go back to the shop.

We have to find someone who knows about high-tech camera's.

I also like the pictures in the Daily Mail - their descriptions are quite ... cheezy.

'All I know' is that if you (I) want large, clear, excellent photos about any event, person, situation, etc., check out The DM UK. Give it a try, just for the photos. ....p.s. I just accidentaly clicked onto the Spoilers button and don't know how to delete it.

I always read the Daily Mail but I stopped a few years ago because I couldn't take the graphic animal cruelty stories, complete with graphic photos, any longer. No, I didn't read them and tried to pass over them, but at the very least there were the headlines and graphic photos right there without warning. I really enjoyed the news stories and the good (other) photos, but when I realized how terribly sad I was feeling anyway, I just stopped reading the Daily Mail. Of course things may have changed since then but I cannot bring myself to go back and look.

Romary 1: I really love animals and unfortunately if I inadvertently read even the headline of a bad story, I just cannot forget it. Many thanks for the Heart - I really appreciate it.

muttmom: You say you read the entertainment section, so I am sure you would not see any graphic animal stories there. I can assure you that the News section had these stories in plenty. However, as I mentioned in my previous post, it is a number of years since I last looked at the Daily Mail because of that reason.
