Oh that's so gross. I don't think 1 lb is that much fat in the hand in the 1st pic. That looks like a lot more then 1 lb. I have lost around 50 lbs the past couple of years. No way was it 2 1/2 of those 20 pounders.

When you lose 1 pound of fat-it's the same as losing 4 sticks of butter...................

so-everytime you lose one pound, you can say-I lost another 4 sticks!

I should set some around the house. It will keep me from raiding the ice cream on occassion (lol). I have so much trouble losing weight since my back issues and pain with excercise. When I tell the Dr.the Dr says then eat less food for less calories because I dont burn them. And then I tell her if I eat any less I wont have anything to eat! (lol).

Anybody remember Oprah's little red wagon full of fat equal to the amount she lost? She came out on stage pulling it & wearing her cute little size 8 (or was it 10?) jeans? I think that was when she did that liquid diet (Optifast?).

Anyway, I was thinking about pizza for dinner. Now I think I'll have a glass of water & a breath of air for dessert.

any time i lose a pound i equate that with a pound of butter. but, those pictures of fat will do the trick too!
