Watching the Maddoff show

for the first time and I feel sorry for his children and his wife. They really had no idea.

I also don't think he was sorry for what he did. He kept making excuses that others were doing it like the big banks. I don't know how this works........I live check to check.

I recorded both. Of course right now one is still recording. I plan to watch 45 minutes at a time. It is fascinating. It is what is being said..... how to gain trust.... how to make someone want to be part of something by holding them off (for example). Thinking about it.. watch my post being shut down... .. QVC and other shopping channels use the same technique... BUY IT NOW, IT WILL BE ALL GONE, SELLING FAST.. ONLY SOME OF YOU WILL BE LUCKY TO GET IT. CONSTANT TEMPTATION.. The difference is he used this 'sell' to cheat and to run a scam. Retailers use this to sell and increase sales that are hopefully honorable.

I had no idea bernies son killed himself that poor mother she loved her husband and stood by him and then finally left him. My goodness how horrible he was hated by the whole world and he did not care. He just was a very selfish man. He thought he was smarter than everyone else.

I saw a report recently that said inmates respect him and ask him for advice. I was hoping he was having a more difficult time in there though I'm sure it's certainly no picnic.

I never pay attention to anyone saying something is going going gone.

So many times I'll see something in a boutique, go home and *think about it*, go back and it's gone gone gone.

No one's fault but my own!

I found the entire show/ movie to be totally depressing. I think the acting was good, just the whole idea of what this guy did was sickening. They tried to make him seem like he had some heart in parts of the show which I feel was just added in and totally false. I think Bernie has no heart or soul and has no regrets for what he did to ruin the lives of family and friends. Hope he suffers much in the last days of his life on this plane and rots in He** after he dies.

The inmates are just as corupt and evil as Maddoff.... and no wonder they would respect him.

Great acting - great show! Can you imagine knowing the bottom is going to drop out, just wondering when? He had to be on edge all the time. (Though not feeling a bit sorry for him!)

I recorded both segments and I was surprised by how good this movie was! It was riveting! The acting was really, really good. I think he was a sociopath. Really. I know this personality type; I was once married to one. It's so scary how it could happen.....such a tragedy for so many people. I kept thinking about the other people that actually knew the truth.....still amazed that the secret was actually kept a secret for so long. Seems like someone would have slipped and told someone.

I have seen only the first 45 minutes of the first one. Recorded both. Today I hope to finish the first. I run out of time during the day and watch during breakfast, lunch and or dinner.

I bet I could count on one hand the amount of made for TV movies I even watched. The Thorn Birds, Right to Die (Raquel Welch), Door to Door (Bill Porter) and this!

Stomach was sick (I mean sick!) knowing son killed himself the whole time.

Danner's acting was really good too. Don't think I've ever seen her in a *movie*.

So it took a billion dollars to re-coup $11B of the $17B--so people will get some of their money back?

I wonder who Bernie would've given the money still left to that he needed a weeks time?
