Dear QVC Folks;

I hope you can help me out. My friend and I are trying to identify the song in the "A Present For Mom" commercial. The lyrics we hear in the short spot are:

There's no better place

that I'd rather be

than right here with you

looking at me

and I swear

you're all that I live for...

We love the melody and chord changes are would love to know who the artist is and whether the full song is available.

Can anyone help us out?

@deerose218, this is wild, but when I want to know that sort of thing on commercials, I Google a question in and many answers come in. I've almost always gotten the right answer, I suggest trying that. Just type in the question. HTH

It is such a short snippet, perhaps it was written just for that promo.

that is what i was thinking.....i googled the lyrics and got some songs that were close, but nothing to exactly match.

@deerose218 Just heard back! It looks like it may be something that we also used for Susan Graver Style and is a production music track.

It was written for Susan Graver promos. Here's a tip. Download the app called, Shazam on your ipad or iphone. Whenever you hear a song you like, all you have to do is open the app, hit the "Listen" button, and it tells you what you're listening to. Crazy? Yes. True? Yes.

Thank you all so much! I was afraid this was a snippet written just for the ad - disappointing because we really would love to hear the entire song and support the artist! Oh, well...

@PeterDM, I also use the "SoundHound" app. If one doesn't identify it, the other one does. (They're available for Android devices, too.) 🙂
