I remember him from Barney Miller and the Godfather, he was a good actor.

he has been rumored to be dead before, but I think this time it is true. I always liked him - his droppy looking face and his one liners on Barney Miller.

I used to go to a Hungarian restaurant on the upper east side in NYC - a small hole-in-the-wall place, and saw Mr. Vigoda there often.

The waitress had been there for years and years and always waited on him. She said he was such a funny man and so polite.

I never bothered him but he always nodded his head and said hello to me.

The Godfather allowed him to display his talent.

Absolutely loved him. He was a brilliant actor by being able to do roles that fit his talents like a second skin, then performing them as though the roles had become part of his soul.

As funny as a comedian as he was menacing as a gangster.

I loved every single thing I ever saw him do.

Rest in peace, Fish!! I would assume Antenna TV will do a Barney Miller marathon, they air it every night now anyway.
