I saw her posting that her older nickname account (@Deb1010again) had a problem, so now she's using @Deb1010yetagain. It appears her last post was the thread @Lila Belle mentioned, "Going to Hospital," on 12/30/2015, so it looks like her surgery was scheduled for the next morning.

Thanks for this thoughtful thread, @Lila Belle! Sending prayers and positive vibes out for Deb, and I hope she'll be able to update us before long.

THANK YOU everyone for the good wishes and prayers. Bad news, there was dead tissue and infection. Looks like I'll be getting a different surgery. I'm laying in my hospital bed as I type this.

I'm looking on the bright side -- I will survive this. Just don't know in what kind of form. lol. Y'all take good care and I'll be back to the forums full time within a week. I'm borrowing DH's computer for the minute.

Deb1010yetagain, it sounds like it's a good thing that you went to the hospital and they checked you out before surgery! You will be able to have the dead tissue removed and the infection cleared up. You are one strong lady! Glad you've got access to a computer! Keep us updated! We're giving you big HUGS and good wishes!!!

Most of us "old-tmers" from this board know this. FTLOG - move along. There is nothing here for you to see. And another reason why so many of us stay away. I truly hope you or a loved one never have to deal with serious illness. Because you would still receive much more compassion here than you ever give.

Honestly, if a member of this community suffers from an illness or heartbreak, that person is going to receive my positive thoughts and prayers regardless of his/her posting history or username. I can be opinionated at times and disagree with some on certain issues, but I always wish the best for all who post here.

Hey Y'all - I just found this thread. I just came home this evening from the hospital.

As for my former name, yes, I was "SpeedyG" and I think "Speedy" as well. In addition I've been "Deb1010", "Deb1010again" and "Deb1010yetagain". lol I've had quite the string of names. I wasn't trying to hide anything. This is just a shopping community bulletin board after all and all identities are anonymous.

I've not posted for extended periods of time and have forgotten my former passwords or had a screen name corrupted or had my real account reconciled with this posting one. I hope this answers any questions.

I hope no one thinks I'd be on here with cruel intentions and at the same time try to get sympathy for an illness.

Thanks to those who wondered where I was and wished me the best. It does mean a lot and I feel connected to many of you who post in this community.
