Do You Love Getting Notifications

Okay, maybe it's my low self esteem, but I have to say I love getting notifications! It kind of gives me validation as what I have to say is of interest to someone. I always feel a little let down when I don't get any. Anyone feel this way too?

I will admit that sometimes I will look up and see that I have sometimes 40+ notifications because I've not checked in so long. Right now I have 20 because I keep forgetting to check.

Oh, I love getting hearts! But I think that some get hearts because they are popular rather than what they say. I've seen where someone said the same thing that I might have said earlier in a thread and that poster gets way more than I do. So while I do like them, I don't let it bother me when that happens.

What's that phrase that I hate that seems appropriate now? No worries, lol.

I never count up what someone else gets...remain focused on the giving so you know that you are making someone else smile...which I have to admit makes me happy to do.
