Designer Antthony on HSN

watching him today but I hate to say I have to mute him. He has a lot of ladies calling in saying they have followed him and purchased his clothes for years. I bought a pant set about 4 yrs ago to wear to a Christmas party but never wore it, its still hanging in my closet. Haven't bought anything else but his fashions are nice for the most part. I don't watch him very long, he is so goofy ! This morning I happened to turn on the TV to HSN and he was on wearing a white suit with WINGS on his back ! Anyone see that ?? Poor Host who has to be on with him. Oh well, it takes all kind and if the guy sells his fashions good for him. He makes a lot of money for HSN. Now he's on dressed like Sherlock Holmes, cracks me up ! I must find something else to watch. Have a great night all

Interesting, I haven't caught him in a long time. He used to be really crazy years ago, back when Barbara Marville was still around. When I've seen him in recent times he seemed more subdued. I'll have to see if i can check him out.

Anthony is a unique personality, and very free and happy spirit. His laughing is infectious and I find myself laughing along with him. We had a woman at work like that as far as her being happy all the time and having a very infectious laugh. It was a pleasure to be around her because you knew you would always walk away smiling.

I love Antthony! I actually like him more than I like his women's designs, have a few pieces, not many. His personality is adorable, and I love how he pushes the edge of the fashion boundaries with his personal clothing choices. It's a football day for me so I haven't seen him this time around.

I remember his very first show on HSN - way back when For a long time he used his last name, which I can't recall now, and I thnk spelled his first name Anthony with one "t" back then. For the first few years he was on, his clothes were mostly rayon and dry clean only which made me hesitant to buy them, but I liked them and did take the plunge on a few. Gosh, he's been on there for a really long time. I don't watch that station any more so I haven't seen him in years.

I like him, but do not care for his fashions.

update: I just looked on hsn, his designs are much better. It's been awhile.

I don't like his clothing and would NEVER wear any of it. The material looks cheap, the prints are unattractive, and most everything is made of polyester.

I never was that crazy about the clothes but he did make some nice pieces.

I loved his personality!

He was just so upbeat.

I don't know if any of you remember that doll he made of himself!?

I'll bet some ladies were talking to it like it was really him.

He is Anthony Mark Hankins, and not sure how I can remember that

Oh my ! he made a doll of himself ? to funny ! He is very animated. He was acting like he was on something other than a glass of water that's for sure but I think he is always like that, high energy. I see many ladies just love him and think he is so funny and love his fashion line. Some of his fashions are nice looking but as I previously stated I have only purchased one outfit and never wore it. I should have returned it. I wonder if he is like that off camera and dresses like that on a daily basis. The guy is kooky !

Aw, come on, Antthony is amazing! I watch when he's on just to see what kind of incredible outfit he's wearing. My favorite was the pirate outfit, then I saw the Robin Hood outfit and I thought he'd outdone himself and couldn't top it. But today's Sherlock Holmes outfit just might have to take the cake. That dude's got style! :-)

antthony is definitely one of a kind.......and such a kind hearted and giving person. if you have been on the receiving end of his kindness and compassion then you already know. he has a huge following in the us AND in the uk. he also does higher end designing and custom pieces. he is devoted to his family.....remember when his mom used to model on hsn? he brags about his twin sister all of the time. there are so many good things that i can say about him. he is one of those few designers who actually cares about his clientele and goes above and beyond just being a designer/salesperson.

dont worry about the hosts.......he is very close friends with many of them. he even designed bobbi ray carters daugthers wedding dress.

i love how he reinvents himself each time he is on......he enjoys going through "phases." i do pick up a number or his pieces each year. not getting anything this time around though because i really do not need a thing. i have picked up a few of his teapots that he designed (got them on ebay). yes, he has some dolls that he designed......and he did a doll of his twin sister. i am not sure i have ever seen him do a doll of himself though.

I enjoy watching him; he seems like a kind and gentle man.

The few times I've ordered from his line, I've been disappointed.

On the old HSN board, you did not dare say anything negative about his designs.

I read somewhere that by his mid-twenties he had built his own $40 million business. Not bad!

Besides the fun he seems to be having, there's a pretty good brain and business sense going on.

Antthony is FLY for sure! He has no quams about the fashions that he wears himself. He's what SG would call 'kooky - krazy' !!!

I do like some of his things and have purchased a few in the past. Since I saw him on yesterday I did check out his entire line on the site. I purchased 2 of the same summer shirt, very flowy, cute shirt sleeves, a lace portion in the back just across the shoulders - very cute. On sale each for $16.00, I also bought a set of 2 shirts, one flower print, the other red, short sleeves too. Not too sure about these two at the bottom hemline, we'll see.

Oh my goodness, he made a doll of himself?! That only makes me love him more! He's spectacular and he knows it! haha. I've got to google that doll, I need to see it with my own eyes. I just hope the beauty of it doesn't overwhelm me. heehee.
