    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Tinkrbl44, I put the item on check hold becoz I wasn't sure of the size for a family member and wanted to check with her husband ( who was traveling overseas and not reachable immediately) . The return / exchange process is a prolonged one and I didn't want to have the hassle of doing that.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Disappointed, I hope QVC does something to correct this</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I recently ordered an OTO Judith Ripka bracelet as soon as it showed as an OTO online, even before it was presented on air. I placed it on check hold and confirmed with Q customer service that the item was in stock. I was told that it was. Soon after the item aired and sold out.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I subsequently called Q customer service and put the item on my credit card and was assured that it will arrive before Christmas. This morning the order status was showing " in process" but just now when I checked to see if it had shipped, it says the item is on " Backorder" . I am very disappointed and I usually am not one to complain but this is happening to me a second time around. I hope the Q social team reads this and hopefully someone will make this right.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also have two other orders that I was assured were holiday delivery but are still showing "in process. " &amp;nbsp;I hope others are having better luck .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="2" face="lucida sans unicode,lucida sans"&gt;When you put something on check status then change payment, you sort of lose your place in line for that item. You should have used your credit card from the start.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I ordered JR 's TSV &amp;nbsp;earrings on Dec. 10 still do not have them. &amp;nbsp;I checked to see if shipped .they shipped on Dec. 13 and are still en route. &amp;nbsp;I guess they are coming from China? &amp;nbsp;Enough is enough.......wanted to give them as a gift ....... who knows if they will make it......I give up on QVC. I hope that when they do come they are not damaged.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am not 100% sure of this because I have never purchased anything through check hold. I can just relay what I have read on the boards over the years. It seems that when you utilize a check that they fill the credit card orders first and then move to the check orders.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would have used my CC especially for a JR item, since she seems to be a popular&amp;nbsp;designer on the "Q".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sorry that it did not work out for you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi muttmom, &amp;nbsp;I have been given to understand by Q customer service several times in the past that if I place an item on check status then the item is held for me for two weeks , in which time I must either pay by check or have the item billed to my credit card. Only if I fail to do that in the specified time will the item be released from the check status. &amp;nbsp;I have done this &amp;nbsp;in the past without issues.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've had it happen both ways with check status. &amp;nbsp; It saves the item (even if sold out) and I get it or it goes on backorder. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Sometimes, the backorder is filled, sometimes not.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think it's hit and miss. &amp;nbsp;The only time I think you can be assured you have it is if you put it on hold and it was the last item available in that color or size.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sometimes people will place an item on check hold, then read the reviews, and then decide if they really want the item.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If they do, then they switch over to credit payment.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Personally, I think that they should do away with check holds, and go PayPal.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I placed a jewelry order on the 11th and still have not received it. &amp;nbsp;It is garanteed for Christmas delivery. &amp;nbsp;I think the "in process" part of the order is their usual slow moving speed; &amp;nbsp;then they will send it out on the fastest mail delivery possible.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The problem is that by ordering fairly early (the 11th) you assume that you will get the item&lt;STRONG&gt; before&lt;/STRONG&gt; the 24th so you will have time to wrap it and deliver it. &amp;nbsp;Very frustrating, but it happens every year. &amp;nbsp;When will I learn?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
