    <description>&lt;P&gt;If you ever go on a picnic, or whatever, and you have food packed inside a cooler, you can use them to keep the food cool.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or, for a minor burn, wrap one in a towel and place on the burn, to cool it down&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or, if you have a hot flash in the middle of the night, use one to keep yourself cool!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>USES  FOR  POLAR  PACKS?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3" color="#0000FF"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Each month we receive a shipment that includes two polar packs to keep the contents cold. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3" color="#0000FF"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;(FYI, this polar pack is about 8 x 5 x 3 inches and weighs about 1.8 pounds each. &amp;nbsp; They can be chilled or frozen and hold the cold very well for many hours)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3" color="#0000FF"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;While I like to recycle and not waste whenever possible, &amp;nbsp;I'm stumped for what to do with these. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I have 3 in the freezer and would take two out and place in the fridge section in the event of a power outage. &amp;nbsp; I've given away one to a neighbor to use as a cold pack ..... and now have a small pile of these building up .... and no idea what to do with them!&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3" color="#0000FF"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Anyone have some ideas? &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I hate for them to just end up in a land fill and would love some input ....       <description>&lt;P&gt;I had the same experience of a build up of the ice packs and the styro containers as well.&amp;nbsp; I kept them in the spare refrigerator and gave to friends when possible.&amp;nbsp; The styro containers went to the recycling center.&amp;nbsp; They come in handy for transporting food.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
