Has Anyone Else Had Items Sent to You...

This is the first time for me that QVC just randomly shipped me something that I never ordered with no explanation on how this happened. Very frustrating! Now I'm stuck with returning the piece of junk that should have never arrived in the first place.

Have never had that happen to me, but I'd be darn sure that I do not have to pay the return postage to send it back. CS should be able to determine that it's not your order and send you a prepaid shipping label. You should not be responsible for paying the return postage because of their mistake.

Some of the strange things that I have had happen in my 28 years of ordering from QVC....returning a defective item for a replacement, only to receive the same item that I returned as the replacement, ordering a pair of earrings, and receiving nothing in the box, and receiving a duplicate Cottage Farm item, and then being told that they don't accept returned plants. Consider it a gift. That made 8 that I received. I still have 3 growing in my garden many years later.

Did you place an order...or was this a random shipment?

Was there a packing list included.... with someone elses name and address on it?

That has happened to me when I ordered something and they mixed up mine and and another customers orders. I received wrong item with a different packing list inside box.

This was a few years ago, I ordered a oryani bag and they sent me two of them . Once they sent me potstickers that I did not order, they told me to keep the potstickers, not the bag, LOL .

I once received a very pretty pair of earrings that I did not recall ordering. They matched a pendant that I was fond of, so I was not really sure that I didn't "sleep order" them lol.

I've had one or two over the years. However, just this last week HSN sent me something I didn't order.

So I called them and they refunded my charge for delivery and made sure when I sent it back I'd get credited everything.

It's a pain in the neck but my guess is they hired people for Christmas and that's the problem.

I had this happen to me for the first time ever yesterday. Not QVC but Grandinroad. I ordered a Christmas decoration and received a very large stuffed lamb. The invoice in the package showed the Christmas decoration. The lamb cost $50 more than what I had ordered but they told me I could keep it or donate it and they are shipping me the original order priorty.

I received someone else's items from Lands' End once. My name was on the label, but the packing list and items were not what I had ordered. I think they emailed me a return label or something and gave me a gift card for my trouble.

1. If in your state consumers laws indicate that if you did NOT order an item, which was delivered to your home, you may keep it, free of charge.

2. However, if somehow your account was charged against a credit card know to be associated with you in a legal sense, it would appear you're stuck.

3. Another "However:" However,if an account known to exist in your name which you know to be a valid credit card, you need to look into this immediately.

I once got two humongous dog beds from LL Bean....cannot believe how huge these things were...they could have been beds for horses.

yep...they arranged to have them picked up from my door.

Thanks for the replies! I suspected that I wasn't the only one. The pack slip has my name and address, as did the shipping label on the box. I called CS, and they said to send it back and they will TRY to refund the return postage. I told her they need to do more than "try." The rep said, "I'm sorry you forgot you ordered it." That remark did nothing positive for my mood, let me tell you. I re-emphasized to her that I did not order it.

I had another time, just a few months ago, when I received someone's shoes from QVC, and they must have received mine; however, that time, the pack slip had the other person's name and address. The shipping label had my name, though. That time seemed like an honest mistake, but not this time.

This week I got a Vera Bradley tote when what I ordered was a magnifying mirror. The mirror was on the screen when I ordered and I think the tote was on next. Apparently they went to the next product and I didn't catch the mistake.

Same thing happened to me years ago. When I called CS I offered to take it to the P.O. and send it on to the right person. I was reimbursed for everything. That was my pay it forward day.

I've had this happen years ago - just call CS and they will let you return it no charge. This is bound to occasionally happen when a company does as much business as QVC does.

A couple of weeks ago I received an Andrew Lessman item. That I am sure I did not order. I had ordered the same item months before. I thought maybe I was on "autoship" and did not realize it. But I checked and I am not listed on autoship. Not sure how/what happened.

Once.

It had the correct shipping label on the outside but someone else's order (shirt, packing slip) on the inside. They sent me that instead of the item I really did order. Had to go through the hassle of sending it back AND waiting longer to get my own item...

Whoa that was rude!!! is the item in your order history?

Man that would make me PO'd if a rep said that to me.

This happened twice with Amazon.

I ordered 2 Fiesta plates and got 12 (2 were broken!). Another time they sent me a spaceheater.

When I called, both times they said I should keep the products - on the house...no need to return!

I only paid for 2 Fiesta dinner plates in poppy - and ended up wuth 10 good ones.
